Raft Rentals
At Trout Creek Flies you can rent a raft and have a do it yourself adventure down the river.
If you are a little reluctant we may be able to find a guide to row you down the river for a fee.
We rent inflatable rafts in various sizes along with some kayaks and paddle boards.
We can get you to and from the river with a launch and pickup or with our shuttle service to run your vehicle down to the take out.
Life jackets and paddles are included in the raft rental prices. If pure peace and easy going is more your style; rent a paddle board or kayak and meander through the giant red rock canyons of Flaming Gorge.
There are now paddling trails designated on the reservoir and information on them can be found here at Trout Creek.

Flows: 1700 cfs daily-2,500 evening
Temps: 55-58 F
Fishing is fair to good depending on the section and time of day. Terrestrials are beginning to be the dominant fly choices during the days, but there is some good nymphing and streamer fishing to be had. If you are looking to throw dry flies, focus your time on the afternoon and evenings. If you want to fish streamers or nymphs, try fishing early in the morning.

Sow bugs in grey/tan (sz.12-18) Aquatic worms in red/brown (sz.10-14) PMD’s nymphs and adults (sz.16) Crickets (sz.10-14) Ants brown/black (sz. 14-18) Hoppers in tan/brown (sz.8-14) Caddis pupa and adults in olive/rust (sz.16-18) Beetle (sz.10-14) Streamers both small and big articulated in gold, brown, and black.
