Raft Rentals
At Trout Creek Flies you can rent a raft and have a do it yourself adventure down the river.
If you are a little reluctant we may be able to find a guide to row you down the river for a fee.
We rent inflatable rafts in various sizes along with some kayaks and paddle boards.
Life jackets and paddles are included in the raft rental prices. If pure peace and easy going is more your style; rent a paddle board or kayak and meander through the giant red rock canyons of Flaming Gorge.
There are now paddling trails designated on the reservoir and information on them can be found here at Trout Creek.

Green River Fishing Report
April 27, 2025
Flows: 883 CFS daily-2,130 CFS evening/nightly
Temps: 40-41 F
Fishing remains good on all sections of river. We are seeing daily midge hatches, and some great bwo hatches on days when conditions are right. We are also seeing some caddis on lower A section and B section. On warmer days we are starting to see terrestrials, and there are some fish looking for them. This is the time of year when you could catch fish on dry flies, streamers, and nymphs. Let conditions or your preference dictate which technique you use.
Go-To Flies:
Cricket and flying ant patterns. (sz. 12-14) Worms in different colors-red, pink, and brown. Midge larva, pupa, and adults- black, brown, red, and wine.(sz.14-20) Egg patterns in different colors-pink and peach. BWO nymphs, emergers, and adults. (sz.16-18) Caddis adult patterns-olive/grey. (sz.18) Sow and scud patterns-dark grey/olive (sz.14-20) Small to medium streamers-both articulated and not-grey, olive, and tan.
